Manchester City loanee George Evans continued his blistering start for loan club Walsall, nothing his third goal in four appearances for the League One outfit.
Evans drove a long-range shot from 25 yards into the bottom corner of the goal to open the scoring in the Saddlers 2-0 win over Fleetwood in the FA Cup on Saturday.
"I'm really enjoying my time here. Each day I'm learning from a great manager and great players," Evans said post match.
"I'm only going to develop into a better player by being here at Walsall.
"I'd be delighted to stay for a longer period but it's a conversation that will happen between the gaffer and Manchester City.
"I've spoken to the manager here a few times and if he wants me to stay, I am more than happy to do that."
