Spartak Moscow chief Melezhikov warns West Ham cash battle not yet won

Spartak Moscow chief exec Yevgeny Melezhikov has warned their battle with West Ham United is not yet won.

FIFA have ruled in Spartak's favour over demands West Ham pay the outstanding €5m loan fee owed for Alex Kral's time with the Londoners.

But Melezhikov says nothing will be finalised while the Irons can still appeal.

He told Sport-Express: "They have time to appeal. 21 days from the receipt of the official document of this decision.

“This case is not over yet."

If the ruling stands, West Ham face an international transfer ban if they do not pay up.
