Spartak Moscow chief Evgeny Melezhikov says their cash battle with West Ham is still dragging on.

Spartak have been seeking an outstanding payment owed by West Ham for the loan of Alex Kral.

West Ham have argued they cannot pay the installment due to financial sanctions imposed on Russia for the invasion of Ukraine.

Spartak have since taken the issue to FIFA and Melezhikov delivered an update, stating: “We were offered to go to mediation, West Ham refused, so we are still waiting for FIFA's decision.

"When? I don't know, it all depends on FIFA."
