Spanish fitness coach Ivan Diaz is backing Karim Benzema to adjust quickly at Al Ittihad.
Diaz was Al Ittihad's fitness coach until last season.
He told AS: "When I got there and I already had my experience at Atlético, I saw it as something very similar, a stadium with almost 70,000 spectators that is always full. He will receive a lot of love, because he is a highly anticipated signing. Karim will not be the last, there will be more. Saudi Arabia wants to have stars in the four big clubs in the country.
"The biorhythms of the European footballer are very different. The Saudi player sleeps during the day and trains and plays in the evening. Social life, due to the heat, is nocturnal. But Benzema has done something very intelligent, which is to take two physical trainers with him. They will help him maintain the level."
Asked about the quality of the SPL, Diaz added: "At Al Ittihad there is, for example, Romarinho, who due to quality could play in any top European team. Perhaps the young star is still looking to win titles in Europe, but these types of contracts are only going to be offered in Saudi Arabia..."
