Former Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti admits he's a fan of Vincenzo Italiano.

Italiano led Fiorentina to the finals of the Coppa Italia and Europa Conference League last season.

Spalletti said at the 'Certaldo nel Pallone' event yesterday: "In Italy there are highly trained coaches, for example I like Italiano a lot.

"He played an extraordinary championship from the point of view of research and intention: with that attitude there is also the risk of losing a few games, but that's the right path.

"I tell Italiano to go ahead and do it yourself, that's the right path."
