Luciano Spalletti is closer to the Roma exit door after a blazing row with management this week. The coach is angry after senior players Francesco Totti and Daniele de Rossi met with president Rosella Sensi to convince her to end the players' ritiro.
According to newspaper sources in Rome, Coach Spalletti was not involved in the meeting and not even told of it until the decision to end the ritiro had already been made.
The reports say he was furious and engaged in a blazing row with members of the club hierarchy, feeling his authority has been undermined.
It's believed Spalletti was already feeling irritated that the angry statement issued by Sensi hours after the defeat in Florence came as a surprise to him.
