Spain assistant coach Jose Grande insists there's no loss of confidence in Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas.

Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has seen action in the Confederations Cup for Spain this month.

"Iker has achieved everything there is to achieve in football. Despite his limited number of playing time, an expert player like him is good enough for us," said Grande.

"He is going to continue guarding the goal with the same confidence as he always has done. What he has been through has only made him stronger."
