Spain determined to keep hold of Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic after losing top trio

Spain are determined to keep hold of Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic.

The former Celta Vigo junior also qualifies for Serbia through his father, Srdjan Bajcetic, a former Serbia international.

AS says Spain U21 coach Luis de la Fuente will be at Anfield tomorrow to see Bajcetic in action against Real Madrid in their Champions League encounter.

Bajcetic is a member of Spain's U18 team, but a call up to the U21s would reaffirm his commitment.

Spain have already already seen three players with great potential, Álvaro Rodríguez (Palamós, 18 years old, Real Madrid), Alejandro Garnacho (Madrid, 18, Manchester United), and Nico Paz (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 18, Real Madrid), choose not to play with their country of birth, Spain, but with that of their respective parents, the first with Uruguay and the other two with Argentina.
