Spain coach Del Bosque: No worries with Liverpool's Benitez

Spain national team boss Vincente Del Bosque says there is no truth to the rumour that he and Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez are not seeing eye-to-eye regarding striker Fernando Torres.

Despite just returning from a knee injury, Torres is set to be called up by Del Bosque for a clash with France on March 3 and although word is that Benitez wants him to remain at Anfield and return to full fitness, Del Bosque confirms there is no problem between he and his countryman.

"There's no truth in the fact that Benitez has complained - we have great relations with Liverpool," said Del Bosque at FIFA's Team Workshop in Sun City, South Africa.

"We just want to take care of the player like his club does and make sure he arrives at the World Cup fully fit."
