Spain manager Vicente del Bosque believes Alvaro Negredo is yet to live up to his potential.
The 28-year old Manchester City striker scored in Spain's 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over Georgia on Tuesday night, taking his international tally to 10 in 19 games, but del Bosque still feels there could be more.
"He [Negredo] is a striker who doesn't play as well as his ability permits. He still hasn't discovered his full potential," he said after the win.
The victory in Albacete allowed defending champions La Roja to book their spot in the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil after finishing top of Group I ahead of France.
