Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu has apologised for his red card in defeat at Bournemouth.
City were well-beaten after a torrid second half display on the south-coast, with their misery further compounded by a red card for Soyuncu.
The Turkish international has since sent a message to City fans.
"Every moment I put this jersey on, I try to be aware of my responsibilities on the pitch," he wrote on social media.
"I know I made all of you and myself upset with an instant mistake.
"More important, to be seen as a bad example is not a type of experience that I want to have.
"My teammates had to play without me due to my bad which I do not comprehend why I did that when I have a clear mind.
"My sincere apologies to all of my teammates and fans."
