Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu is set to stay at the club.

The Turkish centre-back has seen a meteoric rise at the club since Harry Maguire left for Manchester United in the summer.

Now he is set to reject Manchester City and stick around with the Foxes.

Quizzed on his future by Fotomac, Soyuncu said: "I don't think it would be right to go somewhere right now. I'm having a good season. Above all, I still have a lot to learn."

It appears that Soyuncu is happy that he is improving as a Premier League defender at Leicester.

He may feel that another year or two at Leicester is the best way to become a top class defender.
