Leicester were unable to seal top spot in their Europa League Group G after Zorya Luhansk's late winner in Ukraine.
The Foxes had already secured a spot in the knockout rounds, but a win over Zorya would have put them in top spot with a game to spare.
Brendan Rodgers welcomed back senior players Ricardo Pereira, Caglar Soyuncu and Wilfred Ndidi.
However, Soyuncu lasted only 17 minutes due to injury.
The game looked poised for a draw until Allahyar Sayyadmanesh converted Denis Favorov's low ball from the right with 84 minutes on the clock.
