Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted with the impact of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.

England coach Gareth Southgate revealed he's spoken to the United legend about Solskjaer's impact as caretaker manager.

He told talkSPORT: “Ole has done a remarkable job. I'm pleased for him.

“I was talking to Sir Alex Ferguson after the game, briefly, and he was saying 'that's the United DNA'. That never say die.

“Ole has been connecting with the fans. He knows the way United are and has those experiences. The players are playing with smiles on their faces and getting the best out of them."
