Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard won great praise for his performance in England U21's victory over Wales.
Lingard, who spent the second half of this season on loan at Brighton, played the number 10 role with great aplomb and was a creative force throughout.
"I thought Jesse Lingard was outstanding for us," coach Gareth Southgate told TheFA.com. "He played the number ten role - with and without the ball - exceptionally well."
