Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate says their victory over Hull City has rattled their relegation rivals.
"They're starting to look over their shoulders now because they realise we are not dead and buried after all," the Riverside manager said in the Daily Star.
"That puts extra pressure on them as beforehand they might have thought there was just one relegation place left."
Portsmouth, Hull City, Blackburn and Sunderland are all in Boro's sights and Southgate has urged his players to build momentum.
"It changes things psychologically as well as mathematically," he explained.
"Now we have to build on such a big win. We showed we can roll up our sleeves and scrap and that's what we must continue to do all the way to the final game.
"Our future is still very much in our own hands."
