League Two Southend have bolstered their squad with the signing of teenage Bolton striker Jack Sampson on a month's loan. The 18-year-old recently penned a contract extension to keep him at the Reebok Stadium until 2013 having progressed through the youth ranks.
Sampson, who made his England Under-19s debut against Holland last September, is the club's fourth signing this month.
