Midfielder Omar Rowe and keeper Will Britt have signed professional contracts at Southampton, reports BBC Sport. The 18-year-olds broke into the Saints' Under-21 team last season and that progress has prompted the club to offer contract extensions.
"I've wanted to get to this stage for a long time and I'm glad it's now come," Rowe told the club's website.
"This is the first part done, I just want to learn every day and be in the first team when the time is right."
Britt added: "My main priority is to become the best goalkeeper I can possibly be and to get a professional contract means I've succeeded in part of that.
"Ultimately, I would like to be pushing towards the first team."
