Celtic have whacked a £10million price tag on in-demand defender Virgil van Dijk.
The Daily Mail reports that Southampton and Sunderland are showing significant interest in the Dutch centre-back but the Premier League pair will have to fork out if they want to lure him away from Parkhead.
It is believed that Arsenal and Everton are also still keen on van Dijk but the Scottish champions will not entertain the thought of selling him for the £8m that has been mooted in some reports.
"We would say no because we would get that at Christmas also, maybe more," said Hoops boss Ronny Deila.
"This is the problem. There is much more money in the Champions League - and we would be losing one of our best players.
"So this is an easy thing to talk about. We would rather be in the Champions League than sell Virgil van Dijk. If we don't get to the Champions League we then we have to take that decision after, we can't do it before."
