Southampton are pushing for Monaco to include an obligation to buy clause in a loan deal for Mario Lemina.

The loan has been agreed between the two clubs after the Gabon international was made surplus to requirements by Ralph Hasenhuttl.

But theDaily Echosays Saints won't ratify the deal until Monaco agree to the final stipulation.

Monaco would prefer to have an option rather than an obligation.
