Graziano Pelle is determined to bring his Dutch Eredivisie scoring form to Southampton.
The 29-year old Italian striker has struggled in his first two Premier League games since joining the Saints after a prolific spell at Feyenoord but feels he is good enough to also succeed in England despite it being a standard of higher quality.
"I knew already that the Premier League would be tough," Pelle told the Daily Echo.
"I have to do more because I expect more from myself."
During his time with Feyenoord, former Cesena and Sampdoria forward Pelle netted 55 goals in 66 appearances for the Rotterdam club.
