Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia has made his eagerly-anticipated comeback from injury.

The Saints B side featured several first-team members who are building up to full fitness.

The Belgium under-21 international was in the team, along with Alex McCarthy, Juan Larios, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sekou Mara, Theo Walcott, Moussa Djenepo and Samuel Edozie.

The 18-year-old has not featured for the first-team over the past two months, since his hamstring injury after their game against Chelsea in August.

Southampton dominated the game against Middlesbrough, likely due to the presence of many senior players.

Saints B won the game 8-1, with summer signing Mara netting a hat-trick, while Walcott scored two goals.
