Southampton are inviting offers for defender Jannik Vestergaard.

The Saints are prepared to off-load the Denmark international on-loan in the New Year should they receive a decent proposal, says the Mirror.

Vestergaard has been on the outside since Everton's 2-1 victory over the Saints last month.

And with boss Ralph Hasenhuttl having settled upon Jack Stephens and Jan Bednarek at the heart of his defence, the 27-year-old's chances of a recall look slim.

The Austrian chief also has Maya Yoshida to call upon in case his resources are stretched.
