Southampton boss Ronald Koeman remains a target for the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB).
It is believed that the Saints manager is wanted by the KNVB to take the reins of the Holland national team with current boss Danny Blind under increasing pressure.
The Oranje face a must-win clash with the Czech Republic in Amsterdam on Tuesday night as they strive to finish in third position in Group A qualifying for Euro2016. Their status also depends on the result of the Turkey v Iceland fixture.
If they fail to gain the right result and miss qualification for the UEFA tournament in France next summer, it is likely that Blind will be removed from his post with Koeman one of the key candidates according to the Daily Mail.
Southampton are desperate not to lose Koeman and will reportedly offer him a long-term deal in order to keep the Dutch away after a bright beginning under his tutelage since he replaced Mauricio Pochettino last summer.
