Southampton defender Jan Bednarek was rushed to hospital after breaking a rib against Tottenham.

The defender sustained the injury during the first half of the clash and had to be replaced by Ainsley Maitland-Niles ten minutes before half-time.

Bednarek bravely tried to play on after sustaining the injury. But he quickly had to be taken off.

It was later confirmed the Pole had been taken to hospital for treatment.

After being 3-1 down with 15 minutes to run, Saints fought back to draw 3-3 with Spurs.
