Southampton defender Jan Bednarek hopes Ralph Hasenhuttl manages one of the biggest teams in the world.
The Austrian has said he will retire from management when his contract expires in 2024.
He told Sky Sports: "You can see that we have performed against the biggest teams and he's got the idea and the philosophy of playing football that could suit a big team.
"I think if we keep going like that, keep performing like that, the big teams will look at him and analyse the way he's managing the team, and I think that they will like him.
"I can't see really many things against that.
"I keep my fingers crossed that he will become one day, the manager of the biggest teams in the world."
