Watford have handed Danny Welbeck a free transfer.
The England international was among the highest earners at Vicarage Road, taking home in the region of £100,000 per week and the club have allowed him to leave without a fee.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United striker has attracted interest from the likes of Southampton and Crystal Palace in recent weeks.
Watford stated today: "Watford FC confirms that it has reached an agreement to allow Danny Welbeck to leave on a free transfer.
"Welbeck featured 20 times for the Hornets last season, scoring three goals. We wish Danny every success in the future."
