Southampton have completed the signing of VVV Venlo defender Maya Yoshida.
The centre-back, who captained his country at the London Olympics, has penned a three-year contract in a deal at the newly-promoted club for a fee reportedly worth £2million.
The Japan international moved to Europe from Nagoya Grampus.
