Southampton are chasing Swedish youngster Raphael York.

The teen is a striker and tied to Sandvikens IF, where he recently signed a three-year deal.

The Sun says Saints lead the race for York ahead of a host of European rivals.

Saints chief Les Reed has insisted they won't lose focus on their academy production line - which could mean the club moving abroad to add to their youth squads.

York has also been trialling with top-flight Swedish clubs in recent months.
