Liverpool legend Graeme Souness isn't convinced by Lucas Torreira after his full debut for Arsenal in victory over Everton.
Asked whether Torreira can make a difference in the Arsenal team, Souness said he is looking for him to eventually dominate the midfield.
“Torreira is a neat and tidy player," he said on Sky Sports before the game with Everton.
“We haven't seen much of him yet but so far I have seen someone who has a lovely touch and control.
“But I am looking for him to be a dominant force in Arsenal's midfield, someone who can go and win a ball, go into the final third and drive the team forward.
“Midfielder players in the modern game get away with murder, keeping possession all of the time. I am looking for more from him.
“Arsenal have not had a player like him for years, hopefully Torreira can help them out."
