Liverpool legend Graeme Souness believes Tottenham are top four contenders.

Souness was impressed by Spurs for their 1-1 draw at Arsenal.

Souness admits he saw enough from Tottenham to believe they would push hard for a Champions League spot come the end of the season.

"I think they have a realistic chance of getting into the top four," Souness admitted.

"They are a young group and generally with young players you get a little bit of an up and down.

"But I think they have genuine quality, a fabulous goalkeeper, they have Harry Kane who is a handful and probably the best British one of his type of centre forward around.

"There's the young two in midfield and if you can keep those energy levels up and those types of performances they will be a threat to whoever they play and top four is very much on for them."
