Former Serie A striker Roberto Sosa is convinced by the quality of Lucas Beltran.

The Argentine striker has left River Plate for Fiorentina this week.

Sosa believes Fiorentina have signed a bargain and stated: " Happy mid-August everyone and I take the opportunity to say that Fiorentina's purchase is top!

"I'm talking about Lucas Beltrán who in my opinion is better than City's Julian Alvarez."

Beltran and Manchester City striker Alvarez are former River teammates.
