Manchester City chief Ferran Soriano insists manager Roberto Mancini has the full confidence of the board.

Soriano was installed at the Etihad Stadium last August after formally working at Barcelona but has kept a low profile.

"He (Mancini) is a champion, I do not add more," Soriano said.

"Anyway, it is not easy to win back any league, especially in the Premier League."
