Danish goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has dismissed reports he wants to leave Stoke City after an interview in his homeland.
Sorensen has moved swiftly to put the record straight by insisting he is perfectly happy at the Britannia.
Sorensen, who recently signed a one-year contract extension until 2012, told The Sentinel: "I was asked in an interview about my ambitions for playing elsewhere and I told him 'no'. I said I was really happy here.
"I gave an example of that by telling him that someone had contacted me not long ago about a big club in Europe (not Bayern Munich as widely reported) that could be interested in me, but I said no. I told him that story to confirm I was happy at Stoke.
"Yes, at some stage I would love to play in Europe," he continued. "I've played at the highest level with the national team and so playing in Europe would be an ambition.
"At some stage I would love to do that, but hopefully that can be with Stoke."
