Sochaux defender Jerome Onguene is a target for Crystal Palace.

The Daily Mail says the 18-year-old has impressed for French outfit and is set to play in the UEFA U19 Championships coming up with France.

Born in Cameroon, Onguene is seen as one for the future at Palace, while Turkish side Trabzonspor are believed to have made a bid last week.

The Eagles are in the market for a centre-back following the releases of Adrian Mariappa, Brede Hangeland and the retirement of Paddy McCarthy.
