Former Everton star Ian Snodin feels Joel Robles must bide his time at Goodison Park.
Snodin wrote in the Liverpool Echo: "I've no doubt that Joel Robles will go on to become a very fine goalkeeper. Roberto Martinez obviously rates him very highly, and at 23 he has a lot of time to grow and develop.
"But for now, Tim Howard is the man, and performances like Saturday's show exactly why. He remains one of the best in the business.
"He was easily the Man of the Match for me."
