The agent of Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder has cooled links with Aston Villa.

Soren Lerby says that the Dutchman, who has been closely linked with a shift to Villa Park, will not be going anywhere this summer despite recentbig-name arrivals at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"We have an understanding with Real Madrid that Wesley can't leave the club and nothing has changed there," Lerby told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
