Sneijder not surprised Eto’o quit Inter Milan for Anzhi

Wesley Sneijder says he wasn't surprised by Inter Milan teammate Samuel Eto'o's decision to join Anzhi.

The Cameroon international moved to the Russian giants after a transfer fee of €27m was agreed between the two clubs.

"I understand him because he is already 30-years-old,” the Dutchman told NuSport. “He has won everything that can be won and even more than just once.

“I would not move to Russia at my age, but I can understand it from Samuel's point of view.”
