Wesley Sneijder's camp is 'happy' Inter Milan have gone public over demands he take a pay-cut.
Currently the top earner at San Siro with 6m per season, Nerazzurri director Marco Branca confirmed he will not play again until the contract has been adjusted.
"We are glad Inter finally made the situation public," Sneijder's father told Voetbal International.
"We are not forcing the situation forward. These negotiations have been going on for weeks.
"Now we know what Inter's real position is and can find a solution. Wesley still has two years left on his contract and we hope to resolve everything as soon as possible."
