Alvaro Gonzalez clashed with Barcelona defender Gerard Pique after he was sent off for Villarreal in tonight's 4-4 draw.

Alvaro exchanged angry words with Pique as he passed the Barcelona bench following his dismissal.

When Alvaro was sent off, the hosts had a 4-2 lead but Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez netted after the 90th minute to steal a point for the LaLiga Santander leaders.

It's not the first time the pair have had words, with them previously facing off during Alvaro's time at Espanyol.
