Inter Milan striker Alexis Sanchez has seen a statue of himself vandalised in his hometown of Tocopilla in Chile.
Alexis is on-loan at Inter this season from Manchester United.
The 31-year-old is Chile's all-time top appearance maker and scorer, with 41 goals in 124 games for his country, and the statue built in his honour was unveiled in 2017.
It depicts Sanchez in a full Chile kit and also displays a crest of all the teams he has played for in his career, including Arsenal , Manchester United and Barcelona.
It appears not everybody is a huge fan of the player, however, as the statue was set upon and severely damaged, with the face disfigured and the No7 on the shirt scratched off.
