Former Legia Warsaw defender Franciszek Smuda can see Robert Lewandowski leaving Bayern Munich.
The Poland international is being linked with Chelsea and Real Madrid after hiring dealmaker Pini Zahavi for this summer's market.
"Robert wants to let the goals speak. The World Cup is his big stage," Smuda told BILD. "After eight years in the Bundesliga, it is understandable that he is looking for a new challenge."
On talk of Chelsea and Real offering him a move away, Smuda believes Lewandowski could handle both options.
He added: "Robert would succeed in both leagues. He is a machine. He has to change his game, but that's no problem. It's the challenge that appeals to him."
