Slow start cost us at Man Utd - Everton's Moyes

David Moyes did not agree with Sir Alex Ferguson following the clash between Everton and Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Ferguson felt the Toffees dominated the opening 20 minutes of the match United eventually won 2-0 but Moyes suggests it was a slow start that denied the Merseysiders the chance to gain anything from the contest.

"We didn't start the game very well and Manchester United were really good in the opening period," he told Sky Sports.

"The goal just before half-time made it really difficult for us. But full credit to the lads; we stuck at it, kept going, never gave in and we are a bit disappointed we never got a goal in the game."
