Cristiano Ronaldo's family have rallied around the Juventus star after his dismissal during their Champions League win at Valencia.

Felix Brych showed the veteran a red card for an incident involving Jeison Murillo.

Ronaldo was distraught, leaving the field in tears, and his sister Katie Aveiro unleashed a tirade on Instagram.

“The shame of football. Justice will be served," she wrote.

“They want to destroy my brother, but God never sleeps.

“There will be a high price for these tears. They want to bring you down, but they won't succeed."
