Moussa Sissoko insists that he is happy to stay put at Newcastle United.
Sissoko has widely been tipped to leave Newcastle United over the past few months and following the arrival of Georginio Wijnaldum, it is believed that the Magpies would be ready to sanction the sale of the French international if a good offer came along.
However, Sissoko has gone on to refute such claims by stating that Newcastle want him to stay put and that he is happy at St. James' Park.
Sissoko told the Mirror: "I know the club want me to stay, and this year they will bring in some players. We have a good team so we can do something good – better than last year, because the last six months of last year was very poor.
"I hope we can have a better season. When you are a player, there is always a story, but I'm still at Newcastle and I'm happy here. I think we have a good team and we can have a good season. We all have to work together."
