Sir Alex Ferguson continues to enjoy an influence inside Manchester United, it has been revealed.

The Daily Star says whilst his only official role at the club is as a director, Ferguson's presence is still felt at the club in numerous ways.

He remains a regular visitor to the training ground, whilst he is no doubt involved in helping guide Solskjaer in his managerial journey.

In the transfer market, he occasionally has a part to play - being drafted in to help convince Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham to pick the club in a meeting with the teenager and his parents at Carrington just last month.
