Scott Sinclair believes that Aston Villa have signed a quality player in Jordan Amavi.

Amavi joined Aston Villa on a £9million deal from Nice this summer and the French defender has already impressed many with his performances in pre-season.

The 21-year-old has also managed to catch the eye of teammate Sinclair and the English winger has stated his belief that Villa's new left back will be a success at the club.

Sinclair told the Birmingham Mail: "Jordan the left back can't speak much English so the language barrier's a bit difficult, but I'm sure he'll settle in in the next few weeks and he'll know the banter!

"He's a very good player, he shows his qualities as he did with his delivery for one of the goals."
