Danny Simpson is set to quit Newcastle United at the end of the season.

The Daily Mail says Simpson is preparing to quit Newcastle this summer after the right back became dissatisfied with an offer of around £25,000 per week - an increase of £15,000.

Simpson, who has 12 months left on his £10,000 per week contract, is an ever-present for Alan Pardew's side this season, has played a key role in the push for a Champions League spot.

He will not sign a new contact unless the club significantly improve their offer and his name is being circulated by intermediaries with a view to securing a move.
