Simpson grateful to Man Utd senior stars - and Playstation

Danny Simpson admits he's grateful to Manchester United's senior stars for the way they've welcomed him to the squad this season.

The young fullback spent last term on-loan at Sunderland and told manutd.com: "I'm a bubbly lad around training and I try to get involved with the older lads. At first you don't really know them and you're coming into their set-up, but now I feel part of it all. Sometimes you're a bit wary of whether the players will accept you, but I've always been made to feel welcome and involved.

"The lads have taken to me well and they've brought me into the group, inviting me to play cards or on the Playstation. Once you start doing that, you feel more comfortable and part of the group. It can be quite competitive. When we were in Kyiv, me and Wazza were doubles champions at Pro-evo (Pro-evolution soccer). Little things, tournaments like that, make you feel part of it. It's great because everyone gets along and wants to have a laugh."
