Jan-Carlo Simic was thrilled to score a first goal for AC Milan.

Simic scored in Sunday's 3-0 win against Monza.

He later said on Milan's TV channel: "Hello everyone, I'm Jan Carlo! I had the chance to make my debut today and I'm even happier to have scored. I'm happy to have helped the team and now we still work hard because there will still be many games to play."

On Instagram, Simic also said: "Today I realised a dream that I have been chasing for a long time. The emotion of hearing the sound of San Siro is something I will carry in my heart forever.

"After so much work, after so much sacrifice, I can only thank those who have never stopped supporting me. I can't describe how proud and grateful I am of my debut and my goal. Thanks to my teammates. Thanks to the Mister. THANK YOU Milan."
